Showpiece designed around the history of Smugglers in the area
This was the first project undertaken by Hawkhurst in Bloom.
We worked on an overgrown site opposite Tesco's and our work involved clearing the site, laying anti weed matting and covering it with stones. We planted 3 tubs and installed an attractive life size metal model of a smuggler. The smugglers theme was chosen to reflect the centuries old link of Hawkhurst village to the infamous Hawkhurst gang who operated in the south of England for many years.
