The Winners and Runners-up in the Best Front Garden and Best Hanging Basket Categories for 2025

We have great pleasure in announcing the following prize-winners in this year’s Hawkhurst in Bloom Garden Competition

Best Hanging Basket:           Peter Andrews, Southview, Copthall Road

CONGRATULATIONS TO VALERIE AND TO PETER!

The marks were incredibly close and we were grateful that once again this year we used a marking system to ensure absolute fairness.  Six members of our Committee independently judged each of the entries and their individual marks, once added together, identified our winners.  We all very much enjoyed seeing the different ways our entrants had designed their gardens and hanging baskets. 

We are holding an Awards Ceremony in September at the offices of Peter Buswell, Estate Agents, who are for the second year the sponsors of our Competition.
