The Hawkhurst in Bloom Garden Competition 2026 is officially open, and we’re looking for the hidden gems and floral masterpieces that make our streets a joy to walk down. Whether you’re a lifelong gardener or just discovered your love for plants this spring, we want to celebrate what you’ve grown!
Show Us What You’ve Got
You don’t need a sprawling estate to enter. We are looking for passion and creativity in two categories:
Best Front Garden: For those who’ve turned their kerb appeal into a work of art.
Best Hanging Basket, Window Box, or Planter: For the small-space specialists who bring vertical colour to life.
The only requirement? Your display must be visible from the road so your hard work can inspire your neighbours and passers-by! (and so that it can be judged!)
Prizes to be Won!
Besides the glory of being named one of Hawkhurst’s finest, there are prizes to be won in each category. Winners will be honoured at our exclusive Late Summer Award Ceremony, and your garden will be featured in local publicity—sharing your floral success with the whole community.
